I’m no stranger to cultish groups; I have operated with a pretty open heart and with the belief that everyone’s potential translates into goodness. I’ve been involved with more than a couple of MLMs and, of course, am spiritually inclined, which should be obvious with the work I do! 

In recent months, I’ve experienced an increase in people reaching out because of spiritual abuse. This type of coercive manipulation is often perpetuated by so-called healers, shady psychics and false shamans who prey on people when they are most vulnerable.

As a blonde, blue-eyed professional coach who, has worked in the “health and wellness” industry, in government and other white-dominated industries, I have been able to navigate within the world with extreme privilege.

I had to keep going down this particular path because I’d ignored the call of “My Soul’s Purpose” for long enough. I acknowledge that this can also come across as extremely indulgent; “Oh poor you, you can’t do it if it’s not on purpose” insert eye-roll here.

The work never stops. As long as were here there’s always work to do. The inner work continues and when we’re done is when we leave the planet. This doesn’t mean it always has to be hard. But our beings are vast like the ocean and there will always be depths to explore.
