One Year Later, On the Phone With a Client Who Sounded More Like Herself Than I've Ever Heard Her

I was speaking with a client I've known for a long time, both personally and professionally. What was funny is that just before getting on our call, I picked up my client note book and it opened to the exact page where I’d taken notes for her session right before I cleared her almost exactly a year ago. I had followed that clearing with a SoulPoint Journey about two weeks afterwards. We catch up every so often, and she was telling me what had transpired over the past year.

She'd first reached out to me for a clearing when she was at a crossroads; feeling stuck and stagnant in the life she’d worked very hard to create for herself. She was stuck in a way that didn't make a lot of sense from the outside, because she'd already achieved a lot of what she'd set out to achieve. This is a specific kind of stuck, where you can't point to what's wrong because on paper you’re the definition of success but on the inside, you feel like you have no real hand on your own life.

In the year since, she's lost about fifty pounds, her business still presents challenges, but she feels able to navigate them with renewed excitement, and her marriage, “has done a complete 180”.

None of these changes were immediate and this is the important part. It came in slowly, one piece at a time, small enough that she genuinely didn't connect any of it to the clearing and SoulPoint Journey until she sat back this week and looked at the whole year at once and saw, oh, it all started there.

She also sounded different on the phone. She was more like herself than I think I've ever heard her, more embodied and more radiant, not managing her life, but actually living it, you know?

She paused and said to me, you're so powerful. I took my own pause before replying with yes, I am.

And while I do enjoy really feeling my own power, her “transformation” wasn’t mine to take credit for; it was hers… with my help. What she was actually recognizing in that moment, was a year of her taking her own power back, in her business, in her marriage, in her own body, one decision at a time.

I do have real power in what I do, and mostly who I am, and I'm not going to pretend otherwise. I denied it for long enough that I’m definitely going to toot my horn (toot toot). But the power I have and the services I offer aren’t necessarily the same. In my work, I find what's sitting in someone's way, dark elements accumulated in her field, and I remove them - that’s skill. What happens in a SoulPoint Journey is a bit different and I guide a powerful journey, but I bring people to where they’re willing to bring themselves, allow themselves to experience. I would never force it. What happens after those experiences is never going to be mine to claim. That part is always hers to take.

People often want specific outcomes with my services; will I be able to lose the weight, fix the marriage, increase the business? But the more useful thing to understand is this: a clearing doesn't hand you a new life. It removes what's standing between you and the one you're already capable of building. The building, the actual reclaiming and the action to get there still belongs to you, every bit of it.

I also think that's why it lasted. It wasn't handed to her all at once in a way that could just as easily reverse. She took it back herself, incrementally, on ground that had actually been cleared, starting from a place of feeling stuck and, despite everything she'd achieved, genuinely powerless in her own life.

If you've done real work already and still feel like something is standing between you and the life you're capable of, that's rarely a mindset problem you can think your way through. A Professional Master Clearing™, followed by a SoulPoint Journey, is where I'd start looking for what's actually in the way.
